[comp.os.minix] Minix-ST kernel

Hi
	I'm trying to build The minix kernel with a sun based cross-compiler.
I've patced the libraries and I'm now try yo build them.  The
problems start when during the make; 'car' gives this error...
ar: bad format (not an object file) in libc.a('somefile.o')
Does anyone have any ideas what wrong? 
Any help ...?
