I tried compiling indent and stevie today, ultimately with little luck. To get indent through the compiler, I had to remove the copyright string in indent.c. That gave me a binary, but when run, the program went berserk. Has anyone succeeded in getting it to compile and run correctly on PC or AT? If so, please send me email with the crcs of the source files. I also tried compiling stevie again. By not defining HELP in env.h I got it through the compiler, but when I tried to use it, even on a 9K file it also acted weird. For example, CTRL-D, instead of scrolling half a page, scrolled half of a page--leaving the other half the way it was! Maybe this is something with termcap, although elle works perfectly, and that exercises termcap at least as much. If anybody has stevie working properly on a PC or AT, please send me email with the crcs of your source files. Thanks. Andy Tanenbaum
