[comp.os.minix] Terminal Problems Using 1.3 and 80386

I need help in fixing the driver routines which control the cursor. After
I login, I have to switch to software scrolling. Characters appear on the
screen correctly, but the cursor appears in column 1 (1-80) of the 18th
line from the top of the screen and never moves! Can someone provide a
suggestion for a fix?
I am using 1.3 on a 25 mgHz Micro Generation 'Top Gun' 80386 with a
Seagate 80 meg ST4096, using a 1:1 winchester controller. The 4096 is
partitioned into four partitions with the first three being used for MS-DOS.
My terminal is an EGA monitor which is connected to an EVEREX Micro Enhancer
EGA graphics adapter. When I purchased 1.3 Minix for the 640k AT, it would
not recognize the hard disk. According to the instructions, I copied
at_wini.c to wini.c and recompiled the kernel. After building a new boot
diskette, the system reecognized the hard disk. I have placed all of the
files on /dev/hd4, which is about 17 Meg in size. I have modified /etc/rc
so that it mounts /dev/hd4 as /usr. Of course, I still am using the boot
and root diskettes.
