If you want to boot entirely from the hard disk, you can use my hard disk bootstrapper for v1.3. It will require replacing your hard disks's boot sector and change a few related things in the kernel. My bootstrapper wont't work on v1.4b without major modifications because of the jump to protected mode and changed filesystem. After v1.4b is released, I plan to make the required changes for it to work.
