I have been informed that the uud cdiff I posted a few days back is corrupted,
your mailer is (probably!) not to blame we run a different Ebcdic translate
table and I haven't quite figured out (due to putting up 1.5 -)-) ) yet. Once
I get my translate problems fixed I will re-post it. I discovered that due to
the long and/or multi . file names DOS is fairly useless for doing the uuds
under anyway, I ended up doing the whole shot under Minix (admittedly since
I have a 2 meg EMS ram disk I don't have any space problems.).
There was also a request for the bootblok.s mods to boot from a 1.44m
drive, same thing I'll post it when I get a working translate (and when I
stop it from banging around my 360k 5.25 when trying to figure out what
kind of drive it is!). It is probably pretty obvious by now, but in order
to make the kernel / mm / fs you need to empty proto.h (the distribution
has cdifs in them) and create an empty one in kernel (I think, in any case
in which ever one does't currently have one!). Come on dig in, 1.5.0 comes up
really easily!
