I have had these questions for a long time and have decided to ask for the answer now that I am getting ready to compile the 1.5.0 upgrade. Question: When and where do you use the "-i" (Split I & D) switch while compiling the 1.5.0 sources? (Which programs need it). Question: What is a good "rule-of-thumb" when to use the "-i" switch. Question: When a program is compilied with "-i", does the "chmem" value remain the same, or should it be different? Question: When should you NOT use the "-i" switch. Thanks in advance, -- Scott /########################################################\ | Scott A. Jordahl | | UUCP: saj@sun.COM |
