[comp.os.minix] VT100 Termcap

anderson@vms.macc.wisc.edu (Jess Anderson) (01/14/90)

Having spent (some would say wasted) some years being an
MSDOS type, I'm used to talking to my office Vax through
ProComm Plus, which lets me define my vt-100 emulation in
a way I'm quite used to.

I've used Minix term to make the connection with no trouble,
but because this VMS beast wants me to be a vt100,
especially when I'm in the editor, I could use a vt100
termcap. Alas, I'm not real experienced with these things,
so if a willing sould would has a vt100 termcap and would
send it to me, there would be joy in Madison. I feel more
confident about modifying something than about making
something.
