OK, Everybody, heres my current gripe list:
Environment: AT-CLONE 286, Standard HD Controller w/CMI(!) 31MB HD
1.5.0, as received from vm1.nodak.edu and troweled onto a stock 1.3.
1. Hitting 'del' causes the login shell to log out
2. 1.5.0 ls dumps core if you try to do an ls -l. I had trouble linking
ls, because ls.s and ctime.s both had a label '_20' in them which the
linker thought was multiply defined. My quick hack solution was
libupack < ls.s > ls.x
sed 's/_20/__20/' ls.x | libpack > ls.s
cc -i ls.s -o bin/ls
But then that dweezil dumps core when you do an ls -l. This is supposed
to be getting easier, not weirder!
3. make ignores signals
4. When I did a 'sh run' in src/commands, (with the 1.3 shell) no compiles
ever took place. The shell locked up tight. I had to change run to
work on [a-f]*.c [g-p]*.c [q-z]*.c and then it worked.
I think (1) may be fixed by a patch posted the other day. No idea what
the gig is with (2). (3) I seem to have some recollection of.
AND AGAIN - what scheissverfickende major and minor numbers is /dev/port
supposed to have?
