Hi there, I recently bought a 49 Mb SCSI drive with an ICD-Hostadapter. With my old Harddisk (a Vortex HDplus 40) Minix run perfectly on my Mega ST2 (I have a hypercache, this is a 16 Mhz board with 8 kb cache ram, installed). With my new hardisk and my Mega ST minix will not come up. With a friend's Mega ST2 (no Hypercache) and my harddisk Minix runs normally. I recompiled stwini.c with debug on. It seems as if the driver sometimes can read the partition block and sometimes not. But even when it reads the partition block, the next read try will fail.
