I am attempting to read a disc that is believed to have 1K real sectors and came from an old MS-DOS machine. The machine is a Future Computers FX20. We believe it has 10 1K sectors per track, 2 heads and 40 cylinders. If anyone has any experience of reading 1k sector discs, or indeed can tell me any more about an FX20 and its discs then I would love to hear.. Thanks Folks, Dave Price I have tried the obvious quick 'add a new floppy type and set sector size at 1024' etc. but no luck.. Obviously a little nieve. -- UUCP : { ENGLAND or WALES }!ukc!aber-cs!dap JANET: dap@uk.ac.aber.cs PHONE: +44 970 622428 Post: University College of Wales, Penglais, Aberystwyth, UK, SY23 3BZ.
