Does anyone know how to make the brain-damaged highlight mode of HP2622A work properly with Gosling's EMACS? When a highlighted mode-line is updated partially, (e.g. when the cursor is moved down changing the x%) the rest of the line beyond the end of the partial update loses highlight. Is there any fix to this, short of writing a TrmHP2622.c, which suppresses partial updates of highlighted lines and forces a complete rewrite of highlighted lines instead?
