Date: Mon Aug 9 08:31:04 1982 I would much appreciate it if people giving hints, questions for assistance, etc. would PLEASE mention somewhere in their message what system it is intended for. This would immediately make it obvious whether or not the message would be applicable for everyone's system. Isn't there enough Unices out there now to make that kind of thing worthwhile. I dont really think it is safe to assume that EVERYONE in running 4.1bsd, or version 7, or PWB, or whatever your particular flavor of Unix is. -flame off- Peter Baldwin Mitre-Bedford System Software
