[comp.os.minix] Asld and Kermit - the last frontier

I tried ast's (tentative) suggestion in 1.5.5, and built a library containing
only those .s files actually needed by kermit.  Using this instead of libc.a,
however, still takes too much space for asld to cope with. (On an XT with
640K, under 1.5.3).  Looks like a wait for the new as/ld.

Does any expert out there know why tsort and lorder are now ibm-specific?
They've moved to the ibm commands file, along with a lot of patently ibm
stuff such as fdisk.  Odd, I thought they were generic.
