I have an AT copy of PC-Minix 1.3 that works OK on my Northgate 386 - but I cannot forgo my large DOS partition - thus I would like to put it on my (very old) Tandy 1000. The 1000 has a 30 MB RLL hard drive. I understand that I need to get the XT hard disk driver and recompile the OS - question is, can I do this without putting the OS on a hard drive somewhere - and moreover, how do I go about doing this.... Sorry for the dumb questions, I'm a DOS and OS/2 user.... (ducking from the barrage of rotten vegetables). Please EMAIL and I will post a summary to the net if there is sufficient interest...
