Help!!! :-) or maybe it should be :-( ! I received MINIX 1.3 last nite and began setting things up. Everything worked great until I started to configure my hard drive. When configuring my D: drive (20MB Segate with a Western controller) I followed the instructions in the USER_GUIDE. Unfortunately, the hard disk check from the menu gives an error as does the dd command (actually, dd locks up without any messages and I have to reboot). The USER_GUIDE gives a procedure to follow if all else fails. In my copy of the USER_GUIDE the procedure reads: "... Run dd again. If it still alskj9*343q...even DOS ones.".
