ELLE still uses the old-style ioctl(2) from 1.3, which drops the carrier on 1.5-systems (that is, if you have code that drops the carrier when 'ispeed' becomes 0 (or, B0). As you may understand, this causes 'some grief' amongst the ELLE users on my public-access system ('minixug').... Therefore, I would suggest it being recompiled using the 1.5.10 library, and then reposted. I wouldbe happy to do so, if I only knew how to set up a cross development system on MS-DOS (Andy?)... Fred van Kempen. PS: This message indicates, that I am back on comp.os.minix, and that I read news every day now. Please ignore my previous posting in which I explained the addressing problems of 'minixug'... +-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-+ | MINIX User Group Holland UUCP: hp4nl!kyber!waltje | | c/o Fred van Kempen, or: waltje@kyber.uucp | | Hoefbladhof 27 | | 2215 DV VOORHOUT | | The Netherlands "A good programmer knows his Sources" | +-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-+
