I am trying to compile a version of minix which is suppose to run under
UNIX(tm), but I am having trouble getting it started. I was wondering
if anyone has been able to get it running and if so can he/she please
answer a few questions.
The environment that we are running under is Ultrix 3.0 on VaxStations
2000's. But I have tried 4.3bsd systems also.
First of all the assembly code which is given for lib.a does not appear to
be vax assembly. Has anyone actually got these converted or must I try it.
Second of all the directions are rather vague as to how everything must
be done. Must I make the command directory before making the file system
or when I first create the filesystem must I use the Unix commands.
That should be enough to get me started.
