Oops. The crc counts I just posted for console.c were wrong. They should be: 19545 40524 /minix/kernel/console.c Andy Tanenbaum (ast@cs.vu.nl)

I just noticed that I typed the subject lines wrong on the previous files. The files themselves are all ok. P1 is doc_00.uue, P2 is doc_01.uue etc. sorry. I am suffering from pre-jetlag. Andy Tanenbaum (ast@cs.vu.nl)

Hmm, it seems I yelled too soon again. The PDP-11/34 does NOT have separate ID; I got mixed up. Now I come to think about it, our V7-running 11/34 had a weird expansion box with 1Mb of extra memory (don't ask- I don't know what and how they did...). However, the other '34 _was_ a vanilla 11/34 (I now have it), and it ran BSD 2.9 just fine.... Moral: Sorry for something which is not correct. There are versions of V7 that _did_ run on a 11/34. One example is DEC V7m, the other BSD 2.9.
