[comp.os.minix] string.h in ST-MINIX v1.1

darius@isa.uucp (Darius S. Naqvi) (06/13/90)

Hi everyone,

A friend of mine didn't like Minix (ST v1.1) so he gave me the entire
distribution, including the books. However, one interesting thing that
I noticed is that this distribution does *not* have all the include
files. It didn't have string.h, so I made one up by doing "ar t
libc.a" to figure out what string functions were included in the
library. Although I realize that Minix is meant as a teaching OS, I
find it hard to believe that I'm supposed to make my own include
files.

Has anyone else had this problem? Can I get the proper include files
from somewhere? Could someone possibly send them to me? Please email
to me, if one of the addresses below works. If not, please post
answers to the net.

Thanks in advance,

Darius
