I'm sick of all the kludges under TOS on my mega 2 ST, especially for things like shell escapes, argument passing, etc. I am thinking about moving away from TOS/Beckemeyer for my shell-type work and setting up a Minix partition. Is there anyone in downtown TO near the University who has the newest version of Minix (1.5?) and all of the Gnu stuff running? I'd like to talk to someone who actually uses all of this stuff, and it would be nice not to have to download the patches and the Gnu stuff at 1200 baud.
