Hello. While I'm waiting to get my floppy drive repaired I thought I would raise my head long enough to ask Minix World a few questions? 1. Has liborder for 1.5.10 been published? If not, I second the recent motion for someone to do so. 2. When you build libc.a for 1.5.10, are the only routines that go in to it, the ones found in lib/ibm lib/posix lib/other and optionally lib/string or are there some "old" leftover routines that are carried along from the original libc.a in 1.x ? 3. When I recently built libc.a for 1.5.10 (using the posted liborder for 1.5.6) all went well. I was able to compile and build the fs, mm, kernel for 1.5.10 but when I tried to make the new tools, I got an error when init could not be linked. There was a missing symbol _M. I traced this to my libc.a and discovered that __M is defined in libc.a but not _M. My old libc.a from 1.5.5 did have a _M ? Anybody know what's going on here? I suspect it's related to vectab stuff, because I seem to have seen something similar last January when upgrading 1.5.3 or so. Will a proper liborder for 1.5.10 solve the problem? 4.
