This is very embarassing. Some time back (probably about a year ago) I posted a message asking if anyone had a version of readclock that would work with the clock chip in a Leading Edge Model D. Someone very generously sent me his customized readclock, which I've been using ever since. However, a few weeks ago I accidentally wiped out my /usr partition while installing a new hard disk. Everything worth keeping could be recovered from backups except the custom readclock. Don't ask me what happened to it; it was backed up in at least two places, but now it seems to have disappeared forever. And I can't now remember who sent it to me. So, if the person who sent me his special version of readclock could get in touch with me again, I'd be very grateful. Or, if anyone else has written such a beast, please let me know.
