(John Levine), reminded me of a utility we have had here for aeons called MVDIR. It permits directories to be moved anywhere on a device, permissions granting. We use it on both V6 and V7 filesystems, and have noticed no problems. The code is well commented, and should move easily to V6 and V7 variants. Is there such a utility for VMUNIX (of any flavor?).
