Hi All, I just recently got MINIX-ST and I've been having trouble accessing the various MINIX archives.... ftp to outside sites is unavailable here and I have been unable get _any_ response from the various mail oriented archive servers. I've been trying for weeks! :^( Is there anyway other way / system for users like me to obtain all the patches, utilities, tools, etc. for MINIX? Ideally, I would like to patch my MINIX ST 1.1 system to 1.5 as soon as possible, in addition to playing with some of the other neat stuff available for MINIX. Any suggestions or pointers would be much appreciated. E-mail or post repsonses if possible. - KD -- /**************************************************************************/ /* Kent Dalton * EMail: Kent.Dalton@FtCollins.NCR.COM */ /* NCR Microelectronics * CIS: 72320,3306 */ /* Fort Collins, Colorado * "This mind intentionally left blank" */ /* (303)223-5100 X-319 * All standard disclaimers apply */ /**************************************************************************/

Princeton University runs an excellent service called BITFTP. Send a message saying only 'HELP' to bitftp@pucc.bitnet or bitftp@pucc.princeton.edu for more information. The service will accept ftp requests to any Internet site and mail the results back to you. -David- > patch my MINIX ST 1.1 system to 1.5 as soon as possible, in addition > to playing with some of the other neat stuff available for MINIX. > > Any suggestions or pointers would be much appreciated.
