[comp.os.minix] Compiling Elvis 1.3 on PC

This is most odd.  The *only* difference I can spot is that my XT
runs at 10MHz - perhaps that's quick enough to keep out of asld's way...
 
The other point that may be different is the ramdisk size, and hence
the memory available.  I use a minimal ramdisk of 150K, and would 
prefer it to be less.  One day I'll fit an EMS card ...
 
If it's not the ramdisk, have you got some weird hardware error, flakey
memory... ???
