I am interested in getting version 1.5 running on a number of different systems: 1) An Amiga 2) A not-quite PC clone (8088 based, but different disk format) 3) A homebrew 68030 system I believe (although I am not definite) that Minix is not licenced `per cpu' and thus I only need to buy one copy of Minix. This has obvious benefits to me cost-wise. My logical move would be to buy the Amiga version, since that is the only one where I could use the boot disks. My questions are: 1) Does the Amiga version include generic source code (ie can I build an 8088 system from the Amiga sources)? If not, is it possible to obtain the 8088 specific sources, without buying the PC version? 2) Does the Amiga version support non-68000 CPU's?
