Hello Today I've been trying to get teh eial port working. The cable is ok. I've edited /etc.ttys, setting tty1 to 1a1. Then I fooled around with rc, sty and getty a little. I put a line in my rc: 'getty </dev/tty1 >/dev/tty1 2>/dev/tty2 &', and that works, only if the user logs off, the getty is gone. What's the correct way to do it ?? And while upgrading, i've been trying to get last/users/who to work. But every time I get a 'invalid wtmp file' and multiple entries in the who command. What's wrong ?? Greetings, Rob
