ANSI C compiler? For Minix? Drool, drool!!!

It seems you've let the cat out of the bag now :-)

Is there any plan to release the new compiler to the net?

I'd also be interested to know whether it will be possible to generate
32-bit code for Bruce Evan's 32-bit Minix!

Cheers, Andrew

Actually, it has never been a secret. I even issued a public call for
beta testers, got some, and sent them disks with the compiler on it.
I now use it exclusively for all my development. There are a couple of
minor problems, but they will be fixed.

When it is ready, it will be sold via UniPress and Transmediair. The
date, terms, price, etc. have not yet been determined. I'll announce
it when the time comes. In any event, in keeping with the way the compiler
has been handled so far, it will not be posted to the net or anything like
that. Also, the version I will distribute will be the 16-bit version, since
MINIX is officially 16-bits still.
