I have seen this question posted, but I have not seen it responded to (I haven't been always keeping up on articles). Has anyone seen, heard about, or tried MINIX for the mac? I have heard that MINIX works (or would work) as an application running on top of the mac os. Does this mean that it can manipulate macfiles and that files it can manipulate (execute, read, write to, etc) can be read by your basic mac text editor? Could this be one of the solutions for those of us who actually desire a workable command line interface for our rather limited point and click environment?
