Hello world! I am using MINIX PC 1.5.10 and wish to use COM3 and/or COM4 for having additional terminal lines, because some students in our house just want to use MINIX too and I need a second terminal on my desk for developing some graphic programs. These students do not have their own computers, but we got some terminals. My serial card has jumpers which allow to use irq 3,4,5,9 and adresses 0x3f8, 0x2f8, 0x3e8 and 0x2e8. Some times ago, I read an article of someone who had done this successful. If you have this patch then post diffs or point out an ftp server for getting them, please. My configuration is 386, 20MHz, 2MB RAM, 70 MB winchster and Gordon Irlam's virtual terminals. Posting replies is more useful than sending email, because I read other requests for this. (Maybe a FAQ ?!) I hope to see a solution in this group :-) Namaskaar Michael Haardt P.S.
