Hmmm.  So far an effort has been made to make Minix as portable as possible
across machine types, and I would hate to see us leave that behind.
Bruce Evans has given 386 users features that can't be ported to your
laptop for hardware reasons, and there are going to continue to be similar
distinctions.  As long as we make all of the features portable that can
be made portable, then I think we will not be doing an injustice to Minix.

I am about to purchase a 386sx motherboard to drop into my old AT, which
has an MFM drive, so I would be willing to coordinate the source for this
type machine (once I get the screws in!)
