Prentice Hall seems to be filling orders for 1.5 Minix, but no one else seems to. Meanwhile, after N weeks, nothing. No word or card. Nothing to indicate Minix is coming. The offices and their computers don't know about the order, have little or no useful advice. My question is: What the heck does PH think it is giving such shabby service? And my question to the list: is 1.5 available elsewhere? Stuart

Good point. PH is not dropping 1.3 because 1.5 is so different from the book. For the academic market, they want 1.3 to still be available. Thus if you order MINIX from them, be sure to give the ISBN numbers in my recent posting. These are for 1.5 and will eliminate any ambiguity. Five months to get it!! But there is another little problem : now I have the Minix 1.3 :-( I don't want to wait other months, can someone tell me where I can get the upgrade kit to 1.5.10 ?
