I was just wondering, Is minix, PD, shareware or is this an operating system that is on the open market. I have the source in print, in a book on operating systems, and would like to try it out, but don't want to type in 13,000 lines of code. I have MINIX version 1.3 (PC 640K version). On my commands disks, one of the archives is bad on the distribution. Any ideas where I can find a replacement without having to go through Prentice Hall? It is archive 2 on the distribution disk 9 (5.25"). I have access right now to a 3.5 drive, however. Could someone, if nothing else, uuencode it and mail it to me? That would be great, thanks... Also, how can I go about finding the upgrades to version 1.5? thanks....
