[comp.os.minix] Clam shell - TAKE COVER

wkt@rodos2.cs.adfa.oz.au (Warren Toomey) (10/24/90)

In an atricle which I've lost the reference to:
>I would like to know where I may get a copy of the Clam Shell for Minix and I
>would also like to know if it is distributed with source code. If anyone
>could direct me to a place to obtain this I would appreciate it greatly. I
>can do anon. ftp.
>lzirkel@albion.utah.edu

The source for Clam 1.3c is available from the following sites:

IP address	Host name Directory	Files
---------------------------------------------------------------------
131.236.1.2 ccadfa.cc.adfa.oz.au pub/minix	clam1.3*
129.127.40.3	sirius.ucs.adelaide.edu.au	pub/minix/local	clam.1-3*
134.129.111.64	plains pub/Minix/oz	clam.1-3*

where * has its standard Unix meaning.

Note plains is in America, both ccadfa and sirius are in Australia.
Please ftp within your own country where possible, and outside of
normal business hours. Also note that ccadfa is connected to the
rest of the world via a 9600 baud SLIP line.

Also on ccadfa is the binary of Clam for PC Minix, pc_clam*.
This is because Clam refuses to compile under Minix 1.5.10,
asld runs out of symbol space.

*** WARNING WARNING --- NEXT VERSION APPROACHING ***

Within the next fortnight I will release diffs to 1.3c -> 1.4.0 here.
1.4 just corrects some bugs and is more portable (runs on Coherent).
You will need the 1.3c source. More on this soon.

Watch this space!
