For a quick su, you merely have to make the access control file entry as follows: toroot <userid> /bin/sh (if a user prefers csh, it cn be used a well) This allows selected users to execute (a well as access) files as if they were the owner (with setuid privs), and thus for root, executing the shell with setuid provides full root privilages. The system design comes through again - go UNIX -------
