I know that binaries for bcc are available, but I would like to find a C compiler which I can compile on my minicomputer account in order to cross-compile Minix for my PC XT. I would like to be able to compile on the vax and download the binaries to the PC. This would be much faster than the compile times for kernel/mm/fs on the XT. Is bcc available in source form? Are there any other compilers which will generate 16-bit code? For instance will gcc generate 16-bit code? I know that gcc will not run with 16 bits, but a vax does not have that problem. Thanks.
