Recently, Joe Pickert was kind enough to post a new macboot file that fixes some bugs. He generously sent me detailed instructions on how to translate the file but the situation has not improved. I've tried reading the .Z file into MacMinix and decoding it there. I've also tried decoding it on a SUN and moving the resulting .hqx file to the Mac. In each case the same thing happens: When I decrypt the file, the resulting .hqx has an erratic line length causing both BinHex and Stuffit to choke. Is there anyone on the net who would be kind enough to send me just a .sit.hqx version of the new Macboot file (skipping the uuencoding and UNIX compression). _______________________________________________________________________ | __ ______ _________ J.C.
