[net.unix-wizards] Do unibus disks hurt performance?

I'm considering buying DEC UNIBUS disks (RA60, RA81).  I'm concerned
that UNIBUS disks will impact heavilly on the machines performance.
It's very loaded now.  Does anyone have comments on the performance of
these UDA devices?
