Does anyone have Minix 1.5 running on a Hauppauge 386/20 motherboard with Award BIOS 3.03a ? (386 Modular BIOS Level 1.81) To complicate matters I have a Seagate ST296N SCSI disk and ST02 adapter. I have attempted to boot the machine with the Universal Boot disk and a boot disk built with with Magnus Doell's SCSI (ST02) wini.c. Both times the boot diskette is read quickly and the BIOS displays a simple message: PRESS A KEY TO REBOOT The fact that the message comes from the BIOS suggests to me that the BIOS is acting unusually.
