I managed to find a source of compress (in a news package dated of 87) that looks almost like Minix compress... Stuff for MSDOS was just added, and then the source dosread to Minix and a few #ifdefs added. Anyway, I'll see what this Coherent compress looks like, and will try to make a "cleaned out" version, which would compile on all versions of Minix, work on 64K I&D, and so on... (if there's not too much work to do on it. I've other "more pressing" programs screaming for attention :-) It would be nice to add to keep 86 and 68 (bytes are just swapped between them :-) versions as identical as possible...
