Hello Minix watches, A couple of weeks ago I asked a question concerning published literature on the Bellcore MGR system. Through a number of possible reasons, no resposes were recieved. I am making the assumption that there has been some published writing on that system. A month of so before asking the question, there had been some discussion on this newsgroup about the possibility of using MGR as the windowing system for Minix. The software had been distributed over the comp.sources.unix newsgroup in mid 1989 and is thus in the public domain. The comments that have occurred on this newsgroup seem to support the portability and applicability of this software for use with Minix, if not other systems as well. If this is so, one might expect that one or two papers might now have appeared in the literature relating to the MGR system. Thus my question: Can someone provide me with reference to the literature which relates to the MGR windowing system? Thanks for any assistance that you might provide.
