Last night I hacked the GNU C preprocessor out of GCC and changed it to compile with Bruce's C compiler. If anyone's interested, I could post diffs or the whole thing. I had been trying to use the Decus CPP posted a while back, but it didn't appear to have the features that I needed :-(. Also, the bootblok.s that's in my copy of MINIX version 1.5 has very poor support for booting off 3.5" drives. It's supposed to support booting off a 720K 3.5" drive, but it's hard coded to expect that only IBM PS/2's have 3.5" drives; 1.44M drives are not supported. I have hacked bootblok to (hopefully correctly) support both 720K and 1.44M 3.5" drives. Again, if anyone's interested, I can clean it up and ship it out. Happy New Year! (Isn't it time for the "yearly reflection on Minix" about now?)
