I just bought MINIX 1.5 for the Macintosh and I have a problem with disk 03, I think. If I try to copy the disk with the Finder, the file on that disk can't be copied, and if I use Copy II Mac to duplicate the disk, I get an 'interesting' error message that track 67 was too long (or seomthing like that). When I try run /etc/setup_usr, I get disk errors when it tries to load disk 03 (even using the original disk). This certainly makes me suspect bad media on this disk. Has anyone had a similar problem/symptoms? I'm curious, mostly, about the duplicating problems, whether anyone else has had those. (I think I'm headed to exchange this copy). On another tack entirely, can someone tell me how to generate the ESCAPE sequence on a MacPlus keyboard? I don't have an ESCAPE key, and I'm not sure that I remember correctly what the escape sequence is. Thanks for any help on this. See you around the bit stream! Larry Samuels samuels@nosc.mil
