I realise that this subject has been discussed before, but how does pc minix compare to "real" os's. I am talking about minix when brought up to '386 capabilities. Is has there been a lot of software ported to minix, other than gcc, enough to make it a worthwhile consideration when looking for both and educational tool, and full time OS, or would I be well advised to keep both ms-dos and minix on my machine? julian. jsavage@wimsey.bc.ca ..!van-bc!jsavage
