I am posting the following for someone, however he does read the newsgroup (comp.os.minix). --------------------forwarded message------------------- I am very keen on getting MINIX, but have the following two questions still in my mind: 1) I understand that there is an emacs-like editor in minix. I wonder what major things are missing. Can any of you minix users tell me what you find missing in the minix emacs-like editor that you find most annoying/disappointed/really-like-to-have-it ? 2) How's minix network capabilities? Ethernet support? TCP/IP or SLIP or whatever?
