Ok so the subject line is a bit obtuse, i'll try again. Are there any functional differences between different versions of minix? (8086, 286, 386, mac, amiga, sun) Another way of asking the same question; would i learn about significantly different os ideas/algorithms if i pick up minix for different machines? Any help would be greatly appreciated since i barely know enough to phrase a question indicating what i don't know. Thanks. David Oury.
