[comp.os.minix] create more than 4 partition with FDISK

Hi

I have some problems in installing Minix 1.5 (I got it two weeks ago)
into my 386 PC-clone, it has 4MB RAM,64KB cache, one 1.2MB drive, one
1.44MB drive and one 120MB harddisk. It also has a super VGA card
with 512KB RAM (1024x786 pixel).

I have used 2 partition of the Harddisk for DOS,one 40MB and one 20MB.
The smaller one is acting as a D drive. I would like to give Minix one
partition about 20MB, but the book recomended two partitions. One smaller
partition act as RAMdisk image. I have no problem in doing so. However
I have to reserve at lease one partition for installing anothers operating
systems. My immediate solution was to make Fdisk create more than four
partitions, can anyone give me some suggestion how to modify fdisk (for both
Minix and DOS)?

The second problem: Whenever I boot up Minix from diskette
I alway assign 1024K as RAMdisk, but the system just ignore it and give me
the system's default. Can anyone tell me what wrong?

Thank you in advance
