What follows are the eleven parts that compose the necessary files for GAWK to run under MINIX without floating point support. Please see the README file for complete information about GAWK. GAWK is a Free Software Foundation program written to replace awk. Since the supplied minix awk clone, bawk, seems to not be a complete enough implementation of the awk language, I obtained GAWK version 2.11 and removed the floating point support from it as well as making a few other changes to get it to compile under MINIX. Although my testing of it has not been exhaustive, the scripts I have run through GAWK have worked fine. I compiled GAWK using Bruce Evans' C compiler under 386-MINIX. While GAWK does not seem to be a true "memory hog" in the sense of other GNU programs, it probably will not be useful in the PC-MINIX 64K I&D environment -- I'm sure someone will let me know if I'm right or not.
