No, csh contains AT&T code. There's also tcsh, which hinges off the C shell. Holub's shell is somewhat compatible with the C shell and I used it on DOS machines (extensively modified). If Allen gives his permission, I don't see a problem running on Minix (I de-dosifyed it -- its somewhere). It's clean C and runs on DOS. I liked it. It comes with a book and is cheap enough (about $29.00) from M&T. Someone wrote clam and it seems to run on Unix. BASH is the bourne-again shell (from GNU) which I'm using now on Unix.
