I am currently teaching an introductry OS course using AST's book. Some of my studentshave gotten the code, but I told them to use the version that I got with the book, so the source code is compatible with what is in the book. One of these students has a Tandy 1000 and he can not get MINIX working on his machine, MINIX keeps on seeing a hard drive that doesn't exist. Any help in solving this problem would be appreciated. I do have a lab set up in school with pc's, but this person is a non-traditional student working full time days (I offered the course from 6:00 to 8:00 pm to get some non-traditional students).
